Green — Correct: Right letter, right position. Keep it there.
P
Yellow — Present: Right letter, wrong position. Move it next guess.
A
Gray — Absent: Letter not in word.
Letters you type start with no color. Tap each tile to cycle through green, yellow, gray, then back to no color.
Use the Letters in Word and Letters Not in Word fields for letters without a specific position.
How to Use Advanced Finder
Set the colors you know and get position-precise five-letter matches.

- Fill the word row. Enter up to five letters and tap each tile to cycle it through green (right place), yellow (in the word, elsewhere) and gray (not in the word), the colors Wordle gives you.
- Add what you know. Present holds letters you know are in the word but cannot place yet; Absent holds letters you have ruled out.
- Search. Tap Search for results ranked by strength, the most likely puzzle answers first.
- Read and chain. Tap a result for a short definition; tap again to load it into the word row and continue from there, guess by guess.
- Start over or simplify. Clear resets every constraint. When positions do not matter yet, Quick Finder marks letters in or out with a single tap.
