How to Use Quick Finder
Tap letters in or out and get the strongest five-letter matches instantly.

- Tap the letters you know. One tap marks a letter blue: somewhere in the word. Two taps mark it gray: not in the word. A third tap clears it. No positions needed.
- Watch the results. They update with every tap, ranked by strength, up to 25 of the strongest matches, with the matched letters highlighted in blue.
- Check a word. Each result shows a definition; tap a long one (marked with >) to read all of it.
- Page and clear. Previous and Next page through more results; Clear resets every letter.
- Need positions? Once Wordle has shown you where a letter goes, switch to Advanced Finder for position-precise results.
