Who We Are
TurnWord is operated by Hyperbotic LLC — two people who got too serious about word games like Wordle and decided to build the apps they wished existed. Not a community forum, not a hint blog — tools. Smart tools, with AI where it matters, built around real reasoning: assisting when you're stuck, helping you learn, letting you practice, and making you a meaningfully better player over time.
We're based in San Francisco and Seattle, and we're early. You'll see us build more apps — ones that add to what you already love rather than replace it, and that don't require you to wade through long community posts to get value. That's lovely for some people. This is for everyone else.
What We Believe
Every word puzzle — no matter how difficult — should be something you can grow into. TurnWord exists to enrich both the joy of solving and your broader feel for language. The better your instincts, the more satisfying every game becomes.We'd love to hear from you!

Definitions. Word definitions in our apps are generated with the help of AI (Claude, by Anthropic), often adapted from WordNet (below). They are intended as quick, casual references and may not match formal dictionary definitions.
